Play is
It started with micro-fundraising cookouts and fund-ragers and has grown into a budding program of open-hearted play, centering Black LGBTQ+ Chicagoans year-round. PG has produced game nights, music festivals, field days, pole shows, workshops, and even a spelling bee. Through it all, this playground nourishes micellar systems of mutual aid. Our events demonstrate how gathering work can be used to generate and re-distribute resources.
